Internet Access
All versions in the Ed-Reader series of Apps need access to the Internet to download the selected RSS feed. Requirements are listed in the table above. Although RSS feeds are mostly small in size, the download speed will vary according to the capabilities of network connections. For the mobile versions of Ed-Reader, connection via Wi-Fi provides the fastest speed, followed by 3G and finally standard telephony. With all cellular network connections the speed is also affected by the signal quality and strength as well as the robustness of the telephony systems. Ed-Reader will notify you where Internet access is not available.
