Aussie Kids Being Safe on the Internet

Welcome to another episode. We have been currently studying the question “Why we should be safe on the internet?” My class has been looking at the tricks and traps of using the internet. We have studied various advertising marketer strategies and the number of ways we can keep ourselves safe when using the internet. My class created and conducted their own Survey Monkey from schools around the world, to gather data to see whether there was a need to promote internet safety. From their intensive research they created their own persuasive report and interview session with their own advertising radio commercials. We hope you enjoy our latest episode. Aussie Kids, Being Proud 2

What do we value in Australia? Within this series Aussie Kids, Being Proud, students were asked to think about what Australian citizens value. Freedom, fairness, the right to have a say are just a few. But what do Aussie Kids think are important values for Australia? As part of our Discovering Democracy unit the students were asked to record their thoughts and ideas on the Civic Values for Australia.
