Dr. Alan McCord, executive director of technology services and professor of management at Lawrence Technological University, will provide an overview of municipal wireless initiatives, new business opportunities, and trends in voice, data and video convergence.

A retired professor of medical anthropology. Dr. Stebbins lived in a Chinantec village in Oaxaca, Mexico, for 18 months to study rural health issues. Using slides, he will report on how a new, "modern" health clinic affected the lives of villagers who had been requesting it for over 40 years.
